- Tell us about your greatest challenge at Fidelity.
I joined Fidelity as a technologist, knowing that I wanted to move into the area of people management. Within a year of joining Fidelity I was promoted into the role of senior manager. I went from an individual contributor role where I was responsible for my own individual projects to a management role where I was responsible for managing multiple people and projects. I received excellent support and guidance from other senior managers which made my transition into management a seamless one.
- How would you describe your colleagues?
Ambitious, professional, hardworking team players.
- Life at Fidelity is…..
Interesting, rewarding and enjoyable. It is only after you join Fidelity that you realize how large and diverse the company is.
- How has Fidelity supported your development?
Fidelity has supported my ambition to move into a management role. I have been a manager for six years and have received great support from senior management throughout this period. Fidelity has also supported me in achieving professional certifications in areas such as IT security (CISSP) and project management (PMP).
- In one word how would you describe your Fidelity experience so far?
