I joined Fidelity Investments and the GIFT programme in September 2003, shortly after graduating with a BEng in Computer Engineering from the University of Limerick. GIFT really served as a launch pad for my career in technology and at Fidelity Investments – providing me with both the technical and soft skills needed to succeed.

I currently work in the Boston offices - on the architecture team for a large re-engineering project of a mission-critical system.

I am directly responsible for the architecture and design of the middle-tier of the system, working with Java/JEE, XML, Web Services as well as database and security technologies. It’s a major challenge, but also a fantastic opportunity to be involved in architecting and designing solutions for one of Fidelity Investments' largest projects. Fidelity Investments offers great opportunities to those with a passion for technology.
