I learned a lot of new technologies, and both the five month and the ten week projects provided me with invaluable development and business experience that has served me well in my move to Fidelity Investments in Salt Lake City.
I am currently based in Salt Lake City, Utah working on business critical eBusiness applications. I am focused on server side development, where I work extensively with a wide range of cutting edge technologies, and am constantly gaining exposure to new ones. Overall I am really enjoying both working and living in Salt Lake City, and am delighted with my decision to come here. I feel it has developed me both professionally and technically. I have also learned to ski while I have been here - something I thought I would never do, and being so close to Las Vegas is no bad thing either! Working with Fidelity Investments in the States is a great opportunity, which was made possible by taking part in the GIFT program.
