I participated in a 6 month internship with Fidelity Investments in Merrimack, New Hampshire. I lived in Boston which is an excellent city, always something going on, concerts or matches. I am a big American Football fan so getting to see the New England Patriots play was brilliant, I also went to see the Red Sox and Celtics play. |

The work I did during my internship was real work. A lot of the work I was given was tailored to match the subjects I had covered in college. I was provided with guidance and advice constantly from my manager and co-workers. I learned a lot of skills which you rarely get to develop in college. I really enjoyed the work and the lifestyle during my 6 months working in Fidelity Investments. Living and working in a different country is a great experience and it made it hard to come back home to complete my final year in UCC. I was more than happy to return to Fidelity Investments to participate in the GIFT program. |
