Q: What do you enjoy most about your job?I am currently enjoying the diversity which my job offers.I'm not just sitting at a desk all day, but I get to interact with virtually everyone in the company from the top to the bottom. Q: What words would you use to describe your colleagues?Very able, professional, helpful and generally good craic. Q: What type of person can be successful in Fidelity?Successful people in Fidelity are in my experience very focused on their specific work, and also have a good understanding of the core business objectives of the parent company. Q: How has Fidelity supported your Learning & Development?I have been given core training which has complemented the work tasks and projects I’ve been required to do. Q: What else can you tell us about ‘life’ at Fidelity?For people possessing the right skills-set, there are opportunities on a global scale. Q: Do you have any advice for prospective employees?When considering any potential job offer with Fidelity it is worth considering the bigger picture in terms of additional benefits offered. It may not sound altogether appealing to everyone but the pension offerings of Fidelity are tremendous. In the current global economy this is going to become more and more important and especially for those people just at the early stages of their career. Also don’t underestimate the value of working for a truly massive organisation bringing with it the stability that it does. |
